How to create fixtures manually on COMET

The following guide explains how to create fixtures manually on COMET by using the Arrange Matches console. Arrange matches can be found within the Matches tab of a competition. This also gives the unique ability of being able to name rounds. 

Using Arrange Matches

1. Press the '+' icon next to arrange matches

2. Click EDIT

3. Select Round number from list

If you are using this to create a new round, you need to press '+ new round' instead. 

4. Create 'new match'

5. Choose Home Team and Away Team

Once you have created a new match, it should generate ? - ?. These can be replaced by teams by using the home and away team boxes and selecting from the list. 

6. Save

At this point, you could also include the name of the round if required. 

Updating Match Details

Once you have created the game, you can click into it to update the details

1. Press EDIT

2. Update details and save

Here, you can update things such as the date/time and the venue. You can the save accordingly. 

As well as being able to update details manually here, if you have a number of games, you might benefit from using the search matches console.
